Leadership Program

The Chamber leadership program foster sense of commitment to our local community and builds diverse network of businesspeople. 

Every year, the Greater Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce takes up-and-coming businesspeople and sends them back to school. The classroom and the subject is Sierra Vista: its economy, resources and challenges.

Upon graduation, the programs mints a new batch of leaders: a diverse group of individuals with a renewed commitment to Sierra Vista, and the skills, contacts and information to turn commitment into action.  The leadership program is designed to help businesspeople become more active in the community by becoming volunteers and participating in local government.

The Leadership Program is limited to 20 participants. Topics are designed to familiarize the participants with public policy issues and local organizations, and will include economic development, community services, arts and culture, and media relations.

The Leadership Program benefits the individual participant, their employer and the community as a whole.
